Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Human Rights and National Minorities Rudolf Chmel received in his office OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek on 29th of September 2010. The counterparts discussed the issues concerning the State Language Act, the draft Act on National Minority Languages and the draft Act on Financing of the Minority Culture. Knut Vollebaek hopes, the opinions to come from the OSCE concerning the State Language Act would influence the wording of the draft amendment during the enactment process.
