- Rights of the National Minorities in Slovakia and Europe
The conference is organized by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic for Human Rights and National Minorities Rudolf Chmel in order to put the current status of minority rights of native minorities into the framework of European standards, to discuss the possibilities of further development with Slovak and European professionals and increase awareness about European practices among Slovak policy and decision makers. The two panels of the conference – Legal status of traditional national minorities and Language rights of National Minorities - featuring recognized local and European experts will shed more lights on the practices of Slovakian and European minority rights.
